Good question Rick
It’s impossible to use one of these incorrectly.
You turn it on open it and it tells you exactly what to do.
It will not give a shock to the patient that does not need it. Completely self monitoring and gives direction for cpr if this is needed. Continually monitors the ecg and records it.

We’re now away from London and at Ferry Meadows near Peterborough.
Some years ago I almost bought a defibrillator and today with much about these on this mornings news I’m going to order one next week. Although expensive it really isn’t costing me anything due to a good profit on the stock market in Kier shares.
This will travel with us wherever we go in the van or car.

The Mr angry part of this is 20%VAT on life saving equipment. UK Gov has for years blamed EU legislation for the VAT.
Well Boris there is no excuse now !!!

I’ve started a photo gallery
These are only iPhone pics for now with a couple of videos.
I have many photos to add later from a real camera 😂
This at 1:32 scale will be about the same as my Stevns arctic at 1100mm approx but considerably lighter with the shallow draught

Lots more photos today but all on a real camera so until I can upload them to a photo site I cannot share them.
I’ve recently been thinking in my limited remaining years of modelling that I need to stop building what everyone else builds i.e. kits etc and make only from scratch.
I’ve taken many pictures of the London Titan workboat and I’m thinking this will be the one for me hull and all from the keel up.

I do envy you T I've been on holiday to London once and would go back in a flash so much to do and see. My wife and I took black cabs and the Thames water taxi to see most of London's attractions. Keep the pictures coming takes me back to what I saw.

Driving into London attracts a charge of £100 per day otherwise we would be staying at abbey wood or Crystal Palace again. My engine is euro IV.
Unfortunately no account of being parked for a week is taken due to a lack of thought by the powers that be.
In Germany there are routes that are free of restrictions to allow access to stelplatz 👍 inside restricted zones. Good for tourism and local income, well done them.
Today we will reconnoiter and find the cheapest way in and out to London Bridge and the Thames clippers that are now run by Uber.
The local Uber cabs quote a price for your journey that varies according to demand. At 7 am it was only £8 to the train station
Now it is climbing until after peak period.
A seven day travel pass for all 6 zones costs £67.70 each
A no brainier, we added these to our Oyster cards.

That's a nice looking campervan Alan, ideal for land cruising. Trust you are not going to try driving it around London.

Having spoken to my neighbour who recently visited London I am quite pleased to learn that it is quiet there.
Really it makes complete sense as on our previous visits we have been surrounded by voices of Spanish Portuguese French Dutch Danish Polish American Canadian Chinese Japanese Italian Russian etc etc etc but now they are not there in significant numbers. We should have a good time 🤞

I just spent most of the day jet washing and cleaning the motorhome of green detritis or shIte on the exterior. The wife put her foot down and wouldn’t be seen dead in it as it was after months being stood in outdoor storage.
I’m worn out now and having a Singha beer.
I hope you will enjoy the many pictures I will post from the Thames after Sunday

I know the feeling Len. My wife writes it on kitchen paper. I don’t have the heart to tell her that I never read instructions. Is that right Martin?😬

When I retired went to Spanish lessons and said to the profesora
"Tengo un rollo de papel higiénico que enumero mi trabajo. cuando termino un trabajo, arranco esa pieza. Por cada uno eliminado, mi esposa agrega dos más.
In English, I have a toilet roll which I list my work. when I complete a job I tear off that piece. For every one removed my wife adds two more!
So be careful what you promise😇

As JB said, we have been unpacking for weeks. We have been waiting for the two additional rooms to be completed and then for the furniture for storage to arrive. It arrived today so here we go again.
I managed to unpack Düsseldorf today. She travelled well. It will be a few weeks before I can get back to modelling I think.
My wife actually suggested that I display my models in the living room, so much so that she bought me a 1.2 metre shelving unit from IKEA. Cannot refuse that. The shelves are pictured below with all of my completed models in place.

Retirement

Hi everbody "guys" 😂
I'm Andy and fortunate to have retired about 2yrs ago.
At 63 I still have near 3 yrs to wait for my pension. I was very well paid relatively speaking with an indoor job after many years in construction. I was reluctant to give up work but my wife persuaded me. I can now say looking back that its the best thing I did.
People say I build models fast 😮 but that isn't the case, I just have more hours free to build. They take just as long but in fewer weeks 😝
We have owned a motorhome since 2010 when Iceland grounded the planes but Covid has stopped our trips for some time.
We are going to London mid June for a week. We will have to commute in daily from Alderstead Heath because of the emission zone. I hope this isn't yet another we'll have to cancel.

Can you guess where the pictures are taken 🤔

Looking back the trip was to Holland but the weather forecast was rain rain rain for the duration so we headed north west across Europe and spent a whole week parked with sea view and ships. We returned to Belgium again following the weather before ending on Oudorp dyke before the ferry.

We always play ourselves on road trips 😎

Good idea Mike. I was thinking Tom Cruise could play me, or possibly Matt Damon. The wife says Jonny English or Basil Fawlty would be more accurate. Not quite sure what she is getting at…..😀😁😂
Thinking about it, I think she meant Mr Bean.😐
