This was my first mahogany boat build. Now I really want to do more of them. This is a Dumas kit and was a pretty tough build. ( Build log is on this site) I really enjoy working on the wooden boats.

You've done a top job on it Dave, - now a family heirloom as well๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ Wood is definitely more satisfying to use, much more scope for finishing, (can't really varnish plastic๐Ÿ˜)

Thanks for the video Trev. ๐Ÿ‘ I would love to ride in a real one. The typhoon will have to wait a bit. Have another project to do first. Dave

Beautiful !! But too much work for me. I wud prefer a ABS hull, preferably one-piece, rather than 2 pieces joined down the centreline
