I go trolling with a good friend of my that leaves in the Floridas keys with his boat in the backyard and ready to go.
For sail fish we use lure and live baiting together. For Mahi we look around for a see weed patch and also use a lure with sardines or ballyhoo. Those suckers can give you a good fight. 😎 ▲

Hi Ron:
The 1965 releases are going for $500+ Somebody's got the 1974 release going for $800+. It's insane, but I guess the mold destruction has led to these prices! Personally, I feel they are great kits, but it will take patience to deal with some of the old plastic, especially on the bridge and cabin. The hull, while not abs, is sturdy for a 30" long kit. I've attached a video of a running build. (not mine) Also, the original running gear that comes with the kit is pretty much worthless by today's standards and should be replaced IMHO. Also it's light enough to require good, solid ballast work. 😉

Thanks Chris! The booms are removable, but the flying bridge is not. So moving it about is almost impossible. I don’t launch her anymore as I focused more on restoring it as it was a glue-bomb that I stumbled upon on eBay years and years ago.
This particular kit was a high water mark for Lindberg Models, in my humble opinion. This particular version was from 1965. Lindberg re-released the kit in 1974, but the main hull mold was destroyed accidentally in production on that run… or so the rumor goes. Years ago I was able to locate an original 1965 version still NIB. The box is pretty awful but the kit is still intact. However some of the plastic used in the kit is extremely dry and brittle. So in a way it becomes another salvage job. It’s in the stash and I will get to it someday with proper drives and electronics. 👍 ▲
