BAWA originally stood for British Aerospace Welfare Association. This association changed its name to BAWA Health and Leisure in 1992. The show is being held in their building which is situated in its own extensive grounds with ample parking.

Many high profile societies meet regularly at the BAWA club, as access is favourable and there is ample excellent parking there.
I was not rubbishing it just personal dislike of going into Bristol unless I have to. I used to live about 1/2 mile along that road from the venue nowt wrong with the area itself.

If theres a reason to rubbish it such as difficult parking or it not being very good, it would be nice to know what is being said.
In its 13th year, this event is being led this year by Mainline and Maritime supported by the usual organisers Coastal Shipping magazine. This year it will take place from 10.00 to 15.30 with static boat displays and many other maritime related stalls. More details from Iain@mainlineandmaritime.co.uk👍
