Hi,
I've nearly "finished" my Sarik Aquarama which I also build from a short set. I've built my previous boats from kits so this was my first attempt at (almost) a scratch build, plank on frame. I also cheated (because of costs) and made it a single prop version.
I decided that the original builder had made the plans in his own vision, so, I felt it was ok to put my (unique) stamp on it too (at least that's my excuse). I think there was an early aquarama that had a single engine, part of its evolution.
I'm not very good at finishing off my boats so probably won't complete all the fiddly bits.
Cheers,
Mark

The Bella is a lovely model and one I considered for my 3rd build, however, it seemed a tad too big to easily fit in my car so I built the smaller Clipper.
Cheers,

Hi Greg,
I couldn't remember how I secured it so had to go and look!
I've taken a couple of pics to show you (lots of other ways to do it) but basically an L shape block.
Also, another one of the internals (I really must get rid of that fuse holder and do it properly!).
There is a battery monitor coming out of the Rx (for telemetry) but you can ignore that.
I've reduced the file size of the photos (is there a file size limitation on the site?) but if you want the higher resolution ones i can PM them to you.
The next boat I built was a Swordsman from SLEC which i thought would be very similar to build but isn't really - lots of challenges (for me being a novice) but well worth it.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Greg,
Here's a pic I took whilst building with my proposed layout. It's not exactly like this now and if you want I can take any pictures you want of it as it is now.
I attached the esc and rx with velcro straps.
I added a fuse (car type) but wouldn't use the holder as shown here as it's bulky and the pre-connected wires don't flex very well.
Any other info just ask.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi,
I've built the Diva (my first build actually), goes really well on the water.
Not sure if you still need help but can share pics/info if you want.
Cheers,
Mark
