Looking amazing! I've been following your build.
Its been something I've been thinking about doing again for a while now. Scratch built one at 14yo for 4th form metal work but nowhere near this standard, was a steep learning curve and know a lot more now. Cast an aluminium intake using a plaster mould formed from hand carved patterns and a sheet metal hull. Powered by a second hand OS40 from the local RC plane club with copper pipe wrapped around the head. However the sheet metal hull I designed wasn't right. Rebuilt out of ply from measurements of a real boat, used the trailer as a reference plane and grid (lived in New Zealand). Better success but believe the model needs to be about your size to get the handling dynamics right. Then hull got smashed shortly after when my family moved house. 25 years later I'm thinking about it again. Have a 50yo Vosper crash tender to finish first though (3rd generation to work on it).
Like the Kermit idea! My suggestion is the pic should be of a running Kermit and the boat named 'Losing Miss Piggy'.
Edit: Just had a laugh when checking your profile, I grew up 46km down the road from you in Levin. Horowhenua College, ran boats on the Manawatu River. You planning on running this up the gorge?

Hey all, I'm new here.
I'm just finishing off a 36" Aerokits RAF Crash Tender that was started in 1962 a couple of generations ago in my family. Keeping it a basic build to the kit for now.
While researching stuff I came across HSL 102 and am keen to build a model? Does anyone have leads on getting plans? I have found an information brochure with basic deck plan outline and a long section (no offsets) and also no cross sections at bulkheads... I'm guessing any 100 class info would be useful.
Prefer to build out of wood, less interested in plastic.
Have scratch built before as a school project in 1990's, jet sprint boat.
