Took me 7 months to build. Has twin esc so I can control each prop individually, twin rudders, a sound system, horn, working anchor windlass, 4 individually controlled lighting setups (cab / dashboard lighting, navigation, pilot and search lights), spinning radar etc. She gets up well on a plane, probably a bit over powered! (Motor: Graupner 600 speed) (ESC: MTroniks) (9/10)

Thanks guys! And yes AllenA I was surprised too! Funnily enough when both props were working there wasn’t too much difference in top speed, probably around 2 or 3 mph however the acceleration was much faster with two as was the stability! (And yes my minor spelling typo!😂 missed that one!) and thanks John, I’m really looking forward to putting the deck on! The rubbing strake and some fenders have just arrived so time to make some progress, however I’m am going away tomorrow on an army cadet camp (don’t worry I’m in the Navy section!! 😂) so will not be able to do anything for a week.
Anyway I’ll try and make some more progress and look forward to reporting back again! Hopefully some running in the next video!

Ik not completely sure my self but I think you’re on the right track! I’m pretty sure it roughly means the petrol racing boats that whine and go really fast so disturb all the others and are dangerous!

Here we are! I have just finished Part 2, it’s more narrative as a time lapse of the electrics would have been rather dull! I used a text to speech converter for the voice as no one likes the sound of their own voice! 😂 hope it’s informative/interesting.

I think I will call aeronaut as the rubbing strake is included in every picture and my mother is a lawyer who advised me to just ask for them to send me one on the grounds of misrepresentation, (I know it says optional in the instructions but you only get the instructions after you buy the boat!)

sorry to post again just checked the instructions and it says that the rubbing strake is optional but not included!? i find this very annoying as the kit is hardly cheap and is missing quite a lot like the grease/silicone tubing for the rudder waterseal. I was wondering how to make/ where to get a rubbing strake? thanks

Hi,
I have an LED which when I plug in just flickers randomly even with no flicker unit, I have tested the same equipment with other LEDs and they are all fine. This is very annoying as it is a search light! Does anyone know what he problem is / how to fix it?
