I havenโ€™t posted for a while but have been carrying on with my build.
Does anyone know what the light set up is on the Al Khubar harbour tug.
I have the port and starboard navigation lights and the search light sorted.
    Cheers Ian (Rockbag)

    Tugboat lighting.
    "Vessels Towing
If the length of tow is less than 200m the towing vessel shows two all round white lights or a diamond shape and a yellow stern light.
The vessel being towed shows their normal lights.
If the length of tow exceeds 200m, then they display three all round white lights."

When running in addition to Port Stbd nav lights a white stern light will be shown.
At anchor a white all round (360ยฐ) mast head light shall be shown.

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to source a dark green paint for the deck of my Al Khubar 2 tug. At the stage I am at the moment spraying is not an option therefore it will have to be tin and a brush. Any advice would be appreciated. I am located in the UK so this should be a consideration.
    Thank you. Rockbag

Hi Rockbag, I have started using acrylic paints from my local hobby store something like this, it has tested well in the water so far but needs to be thinned with water before use.

    Hi Rockbag
You could try your local car paint supplier, I would say that most industrial plant that is green is Brunswick Green, this may be just to dark for what you are looking for.
I have in the past used Express paints of Portsmouth.

The Al Khubar 2 hull is painted Red.
Does anyone know the actual shade of red?
Below the waterline I assume it is red oxide. Is this correct?
    Thanks in anticipation Guys.
