Just out of mothballs.

I biult the same model when I was stationed in the Netherlands in 1983. Last year I upgraded it tho new electronics motors, ESC, batteries (lipo), throttle control. and have had it on the water a few times now. It was a fun build.

Just out of mothballs.

Peter my shed and garage have floor to ceiling cupboards on 3 walls for storing only my models, and modelling tools and equipment. As well as the spare parts boxes.
Cheers Colin.

Looking forward to this Colin. All I can say at the moment is that you must keep a very tidy shed if that tug came out in that condition. If it were mine I think it might be good for fire wood.

Just out of mothballs.

While I am trying to rearrange my workshop and storage I found this in the back of my garden shed so I thought it deserved to be finished off, as it hasn't had any electrics fitted yet.
So now searching for a suitable motor, esc, etc.
I think one of my 600's would be a suitable motor and 15amp viper marine esc.
I've got loads of servos to choose from, and a 2.4ghz rx.
Sorry for waffling on, I forgot to say the model is the Bankert. Which was originally built for static display.
I'll post more when I get started.
Cheers Colin.
