I stumbled upon that site, used it from 1991 onwards. Discovered MMM, Toronto's marine modeler group from long before the internet was easily accessed. Watched sail races here. Water level was controlled to be an inch below the long, long access dock. Yes, your images are that site!! Thankyou for your post.

There is considerable anxiety here abt the future of the premiere model boat site. We had 3 ponds here at the mouth of the Humber River but the site was closed down several years ago for redevelopment. We can't get updates on the status of the project.

Doogle, my kit's hull is a full ABS molding. Shud be easy to build if I can just figure out exactly where to trim the hull.

Always fancied making the "African Queen ", maybe one day. Problem is that although I don't profess to be good, I enjoy the challenge and learning-then I say that's it until..... oh decisions decisions, it's like being a kid in the sweetie shop 😁

My Billings AFRICAN QUEEN dates back to abt 1984. I bought near-to-scale dolls at IKEA but lost them to basement mold abt 2013. The unattempted kit sits here in my apt, finally opened it this spring. Includes the prop, driveshaft etc!!!

I know just were you are coming from, I have a hull & plans for the Seaforth Clansman, I got them back in 1991 I went and picked them up from the old offices of Model Boats in Hemel Hempstead, they are still sitting on the shelf, one day I will get round to building her.
That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

My longest on/off build was 37 years. From 1971 until 2008.

I know how you feel. I had an aircraft kit I started I can’t remember when, but then I remind my self how many boats and yachts I’ve built and rigged. Turns out not as bad as I thought

Hi One & All
So today FaceBook informed me that it has been six years since I started the build on my Lady "T", what it did not say was that I have had the hull since June 1998,
Think I must try harder.
