Thank you for your thoughts and kind comments.
I will do my best to assist in whatever way I can.
To be selected from so many volunteers around the globe is a worthy honour.😂😂🥺
This is such a constructive and in-depth site with an incredible wealth of knowledge amongst our members.
The Pandemic and subsequent lockdowns has I am sure touched/ affected the great majority of our members in some way and I am no exception.
Indirectly it has enabled many of us to rekindle the boating skills as is shown by so many of the incredible posts and models recently uploaded.

Following our appeal for support in our Moderation Dept. the High (!) Command is pleased to announce as follows.
After sifting through the thousands of international applicants in an overwhelming response, and as a result of hours of (partly heated) debate and deliberation throughout the night 😉😴, we are delighted to be able to confirm the appointment of Bill, alias Lt. Scratchbuilder, (AKA at least by me 😉 as Bill the Scratch) as our new Trainee Deputy Assistant Moderator.
Welcome aboard Bill👍 Congratulations and BRAVO ZULU.

We've decided to put a shout out to see who may be interested in becoming a moderator and helping with general day-to-day upkeep of the website. Most of the time there is little to be done, but on the occasions others post adverts, personal contact details or when items are flagged, action needs to be taken.
This is completely unpaid (but the hours are flexible, no travel is required and you have unlimited holidays!)

A moderator plays a vital role in establishing the tenor of a forum and guiding its conduct. The duties of moderators include facilitating introduction of participants in a forum, encouraging robust discussion of the forum’s agenda, maintaining order throughout the proceedings, ensuring that the interactions remain within the identified theme. It includes editing, moving and even deleting postings.
