Scratch built, old as the hills . this bloke was throwing it out so I claimed it. Motor still works . just wants an overall to make her ship shape again .

I have 18 boats ..................Yes 18 , and Im still married lol !
Love this boat , just going through a re fit , power wise etc,
just was not powerful enough. and too clean .
so decided to try my hand at weathering .
a bit daunting building something "pristine '' ish
then trying to make it better by roughing it up .

Aerokit Sea Queen I built this about 10yrs ago sold it by chance it made its way back to me this year in a sorry state so it has been given a full overhaul and runs like a dream

built from a kit powered by twin brushless motors two 4c lipo batteries two 90a watercooled esc,s & twin brass props it runs a dream

Belle Margot was a birthday present from my wife I was not happy with the sails this model came with so I made a new set and put lead shot for ballast & put combing around the deck hatch she sails well with no ingress of water

the wood mast / boom were replaced with aluminium tube yokes made from aluminium new planked oak deck combing around the deck hatch the sails come off for transporting to the lake

Started Sir William Hoy in 2013 and is 45 inches in length and I am still working on the fittings and finishing. The original coal fired tug was built 1929 in the N.E. of England.
Both model tugs have twin motors geared down 6 to 1 and have differential steering.
