Halfords ok , but are expensive you could buy on line cheaper , i use grey primer 1st as it shows up any imperfections which can be filled or rubbed out before final colours are applied, hope this helps, ian

Hi phil, component shop do a catalogue on led and do a very simple diagram on calculating ohms and resistors , hope that helps , ian

Hi austing, these where obtained from models by design in the uk who know longer exist as a company, i painted them myself, however mountfleet models here in the UK do manufacture 1/12 figures, regards, ian

Hi gary, here is a glimpse into my toy box i have a mersey, tyne, arun, oakley, thames, shannon and waveney class lifeboats all 1/12 scale which i built myself i use a robbe futaba navy 40mhz on all of these and operate them at killingworth lake in the North East of England as i am a member of the model boat club there, I'll post better pictures of the lined up on our patio as soon as we get a break in the weather as i live at newbiggin by the sea in Northumberland, also members may be interested in knowing that it's the rnli bicentennial this yand a 2 day exhibition is going to be held at bamburgh Castle in may and i will be exhibiting all of these models , all the best ,ian

Hi here is photos of my 1/12scale arun props are 55 mm diameter 4 blade from raboesch power pa ks are 4 12volt 5000ma nicad in parallel whi h gives you loads of duration and adds to the ballast , hope this helps, ian

Hi, i have a similar size lifeboat a arun class at 52 inches and powered on 2:- 500kv outrunner brushless motors, tornado tumpers from overlander batteries operating on 12volt nicad batteries, hope this helps , ian
