I recently contacted Dumas to purchase the build instructions for the USCG 44" kit #1203, I paid the fee and the international postage charge but after 5 weeks nothing turned up I contacted them to let them know and in fairness they did refund me the cost ( but I did end up losing out on the dollar/pound exchange rate) they the advised me to try to reorder but this time to increase the postage charge to cover for postal tracking, which was an additional £18, so now I'm a bit reserved about ordering parts or anything else from them (for the time being), its a lot of money to spend and to hang around for over 5 weeks to wonder if it will turn up or not. I've not given up yet, I'm just being a bit cautious for now. 😊

Pictures were taken with the cabin and top infrastructure on back to front, will spend the next few week disassembling it and cleaning up to see where the damage is and what needs to be repaired and fixed.

the superstructure was placed on the wrong way round, do you have any instructions, plans or parts list for this kit ? I think it's 1:24 scale and someone pointed me to Mount Fleet Models and compared this to the 'Danny Boy' kit what do you think ?

I've recently acquired a this model in poor condition and I've started some research to get more information but I need plans or detailed pictures or any advise on where to find info. I've sent an email to the Museum in Great Yarmouth where the boat used in the Film Wonka is currently on display but as yet have not received any response.

Here in the UK 150ml spray paints at The Range stores - grab them while you can at £4.50 - cans are only 150ml but that's more than enough for a few coats of a 25inch boat 👍
