I believe only one pump was used in the Robbe kit, but I never used it. So I went ahead and used three car screen
pumps from Halfords. Then I went ahead & designed
electronic circuits so that I could select any one, any two or all three monitors which worked well. I did away with the Vertical motion Servo's, the cords kept snapping. I used a F14 transmitter with 8 Channels.
The only sound unit used was for a Siren complete with
flashing blue lamp. Lights and Radar are activated by switches before sailing. No working Anchor, and last year I installed brushless motors which improved motion.

HI Colin
I couple of things I remember now, the motors come complete with gold connectors & shrink sleeving ,also mounting plate and screws. I found that
the 365 brush motor mounting brackets were ideal for the job
Hobbyking.co.uk are a warehouse in the UK, so there is just P&P extra.

HI Colin
The brushless motors & ESC's were purchased from Mtroniks about three years ago. The ESC's are still available, but not the motors.
The drive system in my Dusseldorf is as follows:
ESC's are Mtroniks G2 HYDRA 30A.
Brushless motors are Turnigy 2830-1000 and can be obtained from
HobyKing.co.uk priced ยฃ10.82 each. The ESC's with these motors work well. &
Mtronik's instructions are helpful. Hope this helps ๐ญ

HI Colin
When I first built the Dusseldorf I used two 'brushed Motors' controlled
with one ESC (Electonize FR30HZ). I have since converted to Brushless
motors which of course require an ESC to each. With the brushless motors
the performance of the boat was Improved. Did get your Monitors working?

I built this model several years ago, and the Robbe kit included all the
information needed to assemble the three Monitor assemblies ? I still
have all the Robbe literature, and on one of the large drawing's it covers in
detail the fitting of the monitor rotation parts and a diagram of the water pump
tubing distribution. in the kit you should have the three plastic junction pieces
necessary for joining sections of the tubing ( Y - T - & a straight Junction)
The kit contained a 12V Pump which I never used, and instead used one of the
screen washer pumps from Halfords. Water tubing & Junction pieces are
available from a garden centre Tropical fish section. Did you get any
instructions with the kit ? (two books & two large drawing's)
