Yes Pat, this is the 3rd time we have had this one, but the goalposts have moved somewhat 🙈. Last time on the 5th November the answer was given exactly word for word as-
"The correct answer is 'A dotted line enclosing the abbreviation 'Fg' or a jagged line with the word 'Foul''. On British Admiralty charts, foul ground is depicted by a dotted or jagged line boundary."

The last three questions are very similar to one's we have already had 21st-23rd Jan🙄. Nearly "Revision" ones.
I remember the Transportable Moisture Limit bulk cargo one (22nd), Nickel ore, as I think I may have got it wrong the last time😠.

Hard question today, got it wrong and hopefully will do better tomorrow. Seems like most of the questions would be correct but picked the wrong one🤔😕

todays question was a stinker. I kept looking thinking I should click on what seemed obvious, but then kept thinking, this a trap 😀 so I chose as a wild guess Nickel Ore. Bingo. I have since done some research and realised the Ai is getting sneaky and trying to lead us into a fall sense of security by mentioning 2016 IMSBC in one of the answers. It is a category C item in the 2016. I think it has been upgraded to A in the latest version 2024/25

I agree they are both cat a under that reg so question is wrong with two correct answers you have a fifty fity chance of getting it it right

Thanks Ed, put bauxite, without looking up any answers, as it seemed the most likely to liquify - hard to believe nickel ore can liquefy.

In todays question both Nickel Ore and Bauxite (as per 2016 IMSBC Code) are definitely classed as Group A cargo. Both require a certificate of Transportable Moisture Limit.
Therefore both are correct, t this question must be cancelled and a new one published.

Don't knock it Pat it is a bit of fun. I can't say I found your questions any better, they seemed for those who were ex sea-farers. I make model boats and yachts not been to sea except on a cruise and the crew rarely take you into their confidence about their credencials.

I see that you are currently at 97% so well done, the next step is 100% and after that the only way is down! If the answers from A.I. are wrong they are cancelled, a recent survey of A.I. as far as information went, was one result was just 54% correct so I am not holding my breath!

That's right, Steve, you're right. AI, lacking new topics, revisits themes already covered and rephrases questions differently.
It's always better than repeating the same questions and answers. I don't find the repetition of certain topics entirely negative.
When the question about "Teredo Navalis" comes up again, you'll surely know the answer.

I think that most of the recent questions have been asked before with a slight variation so have been more or less "revision" ones so easier to answer.
I'm waiting for the one concerning the naval wood worm to "resurface" which I got miserably wrong the last time 😶😐😣, with the Latin spelling.

Ey-up Roy that's a bit drastic; wouldn't it be easier to find out the visiting times and smuggle in some plywood, balsa and a few tools and a good boat plan to keep poor Ed occupied or are the nurses doing that-- Ed ????😊🤞.🙄.....

Without offense or criticism, because everyone is free to think as they wish, I think this is a very interesting topic and absolutely consistent with this site and with naval modeling.
I like knowing the name and function of each element that makes up a hull, the rigging and the sails.
I know them very well because it's a fun topic for me, and now, thanks in part to this site, I'm even learning the English terms.
