Light up the night
Our club's 2nd annual "Light up the night" evening sail with lights on. The weather co-operated so it was dry and balmy after the sun went down. Lots of spectators on hand to enjoy the spectacle. Some boats were lit up like Christmas trees but others had the bare minimum navigation lights; at times navigating was a challenge.

Brilliant👍👍👍 and cool cool music 😉
Odd, couldn't download your version but Paul's version worked but a different 'cut' and with classical music! OK but not as cool as yours.
    Cheers Doug 😎

Too good to let go. Will it come back. Will it come across danger on the high seas. Will the battery fail.

Joysway models usually sail well straight out the box, once you have managed to fit the rigging!
Batteries will usually fail if you have not charged before sailing or you have a servo stalling against its stops on full movement.
    Nice sailing lake👍

Ships, Subs, Torpedoes and Hovercraft at my local RC show (4K resolution)
One of my favourite RC shows of the year. The Southern Model Show has a bit of everything. The temporary boating pond is used by about 6 clubs who demonstrate their various watercraft to the appreciation of the visiting public.

BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE
FRANTIC FRIDAY:
Believe me, it was way far easier to drive my wee Abarth. And not have wet pants.

In a survey conducted in the 70s 98% of respondents admitted they had pee'd in the bath or shower. 2% LIED 😉

Don't know about any survey about wearing pants in the bath, but I suppose it saves turning on the washing machine - very Green 😉

CG 40564
Built in 2016, she is a 1:14 scale Dumas 40 ft. UTB, which I did my best to keep natural wood wherever possible. Powered by twin 775 size 12 volt Johnson type motors turning Raboesch 50mm 4-blade brass wheels. I properly illuminated her with Lighthouse 9v LEDs and adorned with a BECC USCG Ensign. I overbuilt her like my Father overbuilt his airplanes.

Thank you for your interest and kind words. She's my pride and joy, and has given me much enjoyment. I believe she's sturdy enough to break 1/2" ice! Here's a few more pics of the CIRCLE 43 NAUTICAL CRAFTWORKS/ILLINIWEK MARINE SCALE SHIPYARD FLEET

Beautiful US Coast Guard model. I really like the look of their ships and what a superb looking flag at the transom!
I'd love to see some on water shots.

VolantexRC ATOMIC RTR racing boat
Having reviewed many planes, quads and cars over the last 3 years so it was refreshing to get a boat in the water. Why didn't I do this a long time ago? Bit addictive to say the least. Was surprised how quick this thing was on 3 cells. Lots of tight turns and no hint of it tipping. And a good run time not far off the manufacturers stated 8 minutes. Balance seemed to be quite critical though. The stock 3S2500 in the battery holder had it on step from the go. I dropped in a 3S2200 and despite pushing it to the furthest forward point it would bog down when it lost momentum. Easily solved with a little lead on some velcro next time out. Otherwise really impressed. Zero time to set it up. Nice it has rates dial for steering on the transmitter so can go between hooligan style tight turns and smooth high speed turns. Looking forward to taking it out again.

It looks like an Aeronaut Classic, I am half way through building one and am not happy with it as I have built it as per instructions and the bottom skins are a good eight of an in too short. it seems tome that a lot of the parts like the side stringers are way too thin. I saw a picture of one that was being built that some one was doing a couple of years back and now the parts have been dramatically skimped now. I am very dissapointed with the model generally.
