A mold of the St200 raf rescue boat was made by Neil Howard Pritchard from fleetwood who subsequently gave away to Steve Tranter of Model Boat bits....Alas Steve sold it on to a chap who he beleives to be from the Midlands who was going to use the hulls for Kids ready to run boats at his club and lived around an hour from his home in Telford. Now this Mold must be somewhere if anyone knows of it's whereabouts or any info leading to finding it As I would like to produce a kit of this Model could you please contact me ALL INFO will be treated in confidence...Thanks

π¬ Cooling coil

As long as the coil toutches the motor you will be ok if it is NOT touching then simply start agaain as it will b a waste of time.............................................With regards to your painting question simplest way is to go to halfords and buy grey primer with is acrylic....if it is a wooden hull then you WILL NEED to use a coat of Halfords or Equivellent car laquer to seal the primer underneath ...rub down with 800 DRY then put your grey on top of it....reason for this is simple the primer is porous so you will need to stop water getting at the wood,if it is GRP then no need for this

Fill it up with Castrol or equivellent grease and once a year repack it....got boats with grease from over 5 yrs ago and they still as smooth as ever and dont leak water at all.......went through them over xmas for 1st time in years NOT a single mark of wear and that includes a couple of fast boats as well....Had a look at a boat that was last on the water 7yrs ago still with the original grease in it and still was as fresh as the day I put it in.......if your boat is using Oil from an oiler then the shaft will be furbarred and staining on the underneath....really no need for oilers as long as you have put enough grease in it...OIL will wash the grease away
