Not exactly. But, a chap at the model boat club in Bury UK who has the same โMicrozoneโ controller, said that the top left switch on the controller will set the rudder to 50% or 100%. When I set it to 50% I no longer had any issues. So, Iโve not messed with it since and itโs been fine.
Thanks to all for help.

Hi Duncan
My yacht sailed her maiden voyage at Bury in October when I first bought her. I met Mike who kindly helped me with a couple of teething issues, and provided me with some useful info on the club. Another member kindly helped me carry her to the water (she is heavy for one person!).
Iโm from Urmston, so Bury is not too far to travel. I was thinking of joining the club this spring.
Hope to meet you soon
Kind regards
Peter

Hi all,
My new yacht has been in dry dock for a few add ons - thought you might like to see them on a photo taken today.. fenders, bow protector, strengthened stand, flag (sorry, not on photo!). I want to add a smart black lettered name on the bow and stern next, any ideas!?
I look forward to spring and summer and joining a local model boat club in the UK northwest, nr Manchester.
Love the yacht to bits, and she sails beautifully.
Kind regards
Peter

Anyone any idea why when I use full rudder left or right for more than say five seconds, transmission is lost, and yacht reverts to a locked right rudder.
I can regain control by switching controller off and back on again, it pairs, but will need to re-align rudder with the side trim switches. It seems to happen when I steer quickly and not so much if I steer slowly and smoothly. Batteries all test fine.

Thank you.
I have sourced these fenders off EBay, ordered four of them at 50mm size, they look perfect ยฃ14

They look perfect, exactly what I want about 2โ long - about six
I think. Iโve researched a few of the recommended sites on here, there should be no problem on line.
Shame there are few model shops around in Manchester UK.

The vac shop sounds like a good place to visit, what would you use to secure it on a fibre hull? ๐ค
