corrected mast top

found out after a bit more study that the mast top chain rigging was incorrect so this has been corrected

    Hate to be the Bearer!
Here is a picture of my Dads wherry, he used combination of chain and rope, too much chain that high in the rigging may not be good?
They would not want too much weight at that height, in the real sail boat.

see pic of real wherry, they only used a short length of chain.

Sorry, hope you don't mind me pointing this out, its nit-pickings I know. Just remember nothing is ever perfect.

Good start. Boy there are a lot of projects with planking on the go at the moment. It looks quite difficult and needs a lot of patience to complete. I had better avoid that then.😁

I generally go for brass rod in my Thames Barges. Are you going to 'plank' the decks over the ply you have laid. I use lime strip 1mm x 5 or 10 on my barges. Always think it looks quite authentic.

    Cheers, Nerys

    Hi Jacko,
I would go for a rod.
Wire or plastic in a tube is used if you need to bend around something.(normal)
