Some are scratch built, some are kit built, some were bought and restored and a couple are store shelf finds. Takes about a year during my working days and about 7 months during my retirement days to build a scratch model. I just restore now, I think my scratch built days may be done. Costs over $400 just to build, then I need another $400 to put in all the running gear, sound modules, esc's and radio's etcFella's...I have been on a off modeling for 30 years.
