both are aged but in good condition 👍got them both recently and havnt done much to them

Gordon bought this hydro from Ebay and fiddled with it lots to get it going. So we went to Ilfracombe pond for a test. it went jolly well to begin with until a large input of water through the windows made it unstable and the result you can see !!! After we recovered it and dried it out it went lovely as you will see from a later video. Les Breame

These two boats were tied up at a dock on Lake Coeur d’Alene, idaho. My nephew sent me the pictures. Tomorrow he will try to get the names of the boats and maybe information.

I came across this cool concept a week ago while at the beach. Not even there you may escape from the mean marketing folks.

Here I have some food for inspiration. This is a tourist boat operating in Ocean City, Maryland (USA). it takes people by the coast and to watch the dolphins. Quite unusual and cool.

Mawhera is a bucket dredger buil by willim simons and company
in the Renfrew yard for New Zealand in 1908.
The model is 1.5mtr long and is fully working by radio control.

This has finally got to meet its full size "big sister" in the flesh at the Barmouth Lifeboat Stations Annual Open day on Sunday 30th July 2017.

i was able to put a high deck in because of the size of the hull
it might be difficult to do this with the smaller hull take a look on SLEC they do the River Police Launch (last picture)it appears to to be risen at the front to take the motor etc

The Vintage Model Boat range are now being produced by SLEC Ltd. All our kits come with all parts cut by CNC router or laser, plus all the necesary strip wood is included, along with building instructions and plan.

The River Police Launch has been based on the old Veron Kit from the 1960's that we all loved at that time. The model is not a scale model but embraces the boat design of that era. The kit is now fully laser cut so all parts are pre-cut and most of the parts are now made out of high quality ply, so obtaining a good finish is easier to achieve. The model can be powered by a 7.2 volts standard buggy battery pack or ic power of .5-1.5 cc engines which is not in the kit, also we have not included any running fittings as we feel a lot of modellers will have or would like to choose for themselves, but we can supply these fittings if required.

My next build is going to be a Thames Barge (last picture) the cardboard templates are cut ready to try then a friend is going to cut them in 6mm laser ply with his laser cutter
