Here is my Steampunk Pike.
She is still a work in progress.
Eventually it will be static dive.
Length 40"
Width 11"
Height 14"
There is still a lot to do including weathering.
There are no bounds to the Creativity of you Mates👍👍👍
And of course, I would expect no less of you Martin, you are an inspiration!!!
Can't wait to see her in action.
Jules Vern would be Green with Envy😂🤣
Great Job.

Cats of course Doug, they ruin our garden and are always after my fish. The dog does his best, but he can't always be outside. I'd rather the local otters at least they only visit a couple of times each year.
Cheers Colin.
"But I want to make something really wacky."
Oh no! Another Morse Code 'paper chase'!😮
How about binary or hex code this time Martin? 😂🤣
0011 1001 0001 1111 - 0100 1111 10101 0111 😎
(Binary equivalents of the number of the letters in the alphabet😁)
BTW: You don't HAVE to be wacky to build models, but it helps!😉
(You'll probably end up wacky anyway!)
"Oops ! who me, what dog?, don't know what you're talking about."
Or as Garfield would have said (with mouth full of stolen lasagne)
'Mon't mook at meef!' 😁🐱
Believe it or not I am not really a sub type of guy.
I have still got to finish my Gato and Cottesmore.
But I want to make something really wacky.
I have something in mind but I need to work a few things out to see if it will work.
Colour looks coppery on my monitor Martin👍
Clean fresh copper is pink anyway.
It just struck me that our very own 'Mactin', the recycled tin clockwork sub man, would be proud to have built that!😉
Marky; I'm assuming you mean 'biscuits' 😁
Cheers, Doug 😎
PS: all this submarine mania is tempting me to jump my Akula 2 to the top of the 'To Do' list 🤓
Staggering! 😮😊
Doesn't need weathering Martin, looks great as she is, fantabulose!
Look forward to the internals detail (Similar to your Gato?) and trials vid👍
'20,000 Leagues Under the Fishpond'.
BTW; What do you feed it? 😁
Pikes have a nasty bite don't they?
