Looking VERY smart, and nice to see the waterline done correctly as well.
She's going to look really smart on the water (as well as out). Will ▲

What a fine looking craft. I am amazed at the level of craft being made by all modellers on this site. Well done. I used 2000 grit wet and dry with brasso to finish polish the West system epoxy on out side on my Venice water taxi. I will post some of the latest shots soon. Cheers and keep up the good work. Ian ๐

Nicely painted, hopefully for the last time! Will look really good once finished.
I must get on with mine as all my builds have stalled for quite a long time now. โน๏ธ ▲

Amazing skill, even though it was probably very difficult and intense work you have made an excellent addition to your model which many will marvel at when they admire it.

I admire your patience using the method you describe for making the frame for the screen.
I have recently made a very similar screen using a completely different method. When I have some photos of it I will show you. ๐ ▲

I cut the inside with a jigsaw and the outside with bandsaw, first the inside cutting an filling, than the outside on the bandsaw, this way itโs strong and wonโt bend when handling

Beautifully engineered it must have taken a lot of time and patience to make them out of sheet material
can I offer another solution for a future system, use an appropriate channel section and use aluminium solder to join the corners, I was always sceptical about this aluminium solder so tried it out just prove it didn't work but guess what it does work and makes a strong joint and is easy to use - give it a go That's not to say what you have produced is in any way inferior I think they are great ▲

Hello everyone,
What is the name of the paint that restores matt model windows to a reasonably transparent state? Michel-C searches and searches and . . . Every tip welcome, thanks. M-C ▲

You've made a really nice job of those window frames.
The last set I made using thin ply, but thin aluminium sheet would be a bit more forgiving and robust whilst being worked on. ๐ ▲

Nicely done renew๐
I couldn't make up my mind whether to make the window frames, for my restored Sea Scout see pics, from mahogany or alu. You just made up my mind.๐ Alu it is (or will be๐). My windows are 3mm green tinted perspex which flush fit to the 3mm ply cabin walls. Glued in with Deluxe Materials Canopy glue. Cheers, Doug๐ ▲
