I was invited by the Sarasota model RC sailing club to bring the big 6. Ft long TB-1 torpedo boat to an event in which a local TV morning show will be doing a spot on their club. I was to be just a side show. I brought the TB-1 USS Cushing as well as my PT-109. It was all fun.
I may contact the show for a future topic in the big boat I refurbished and maybe our radio control airplane club in Venice Florida.

Took my big 6.5 ft long old Spanish American war era 👍Torpedo boat for a cruise.
Video at full speed. One of the three motors has a missing gear tooth and is making noise. I can’t replace it without major surgery. So for now, it is ok.

Last night we stayed at home hunkered down for hurricane Milton. We were in the eye of the storm.
Made it ok. No flooding.
Still no power, but my generator is working.
All my boats and planes are safe
Hope our other Florida mates are ok as well.

Took my airboat and the big torpedo boat to the lake today.
A bit choppy. But lots of fun. I let a young boy drive the TB boat as well. He did good.
Later on I found one of the motors lost all the retaining screws to the gearbox. Back to dry dock for repairs .

Fun at the park. A big lake and nice day to run the boat at the Wellen Park in Florida. The owner of the bike and kayak shop took this video of my shrimp boat Capt CJ (it is a scale boat; the full boat was destroyed during hurricane Ian a couple of years ago).

This is a scale model of an actual shrimp boat. It was custom designed and built by a local guy ( of which I purchased 2 more from just as large ). The model is 48 inches long by 13 inches at its widest. It is also approx 30 inches tall with the masts. picture of the actual boat and the model on dry land attached. 😎 Isaac
