Suchet was an amazing Edward Teller in the PBS "Oppenheimer" series years back. In many ways it holds up better than this years "Oppenheimer."

To understand the origin of the winds of the Mediterranean it is necessary to understand where to place the reference point.
The central point of the wind rose is in the Ionian (in the center of the Mediterranean) between Italy and Greece.
Understand this, everything comes back.
The "Maestrale" (Mistral) derives its name from the "magistra", that is Rome. In ancient times it was also called that. This is explained both etymology and origin from the North West compared to the central point.
The "Grecale" derives its etymology from Greece, in fact it is a cold wind coming from the north east compared to the central point.
The "Scirocco" (Sirocco) should derive its etymology from Syria.
It is a wind from South East and therefore hot.
The "Libeccio" derives the name from Libya and in fact it is a hot wind from South West compared to the point of reference.
Attention are Wind things are not so precise and millimetric.

I remember the first time I saw a submarine surface. It was the Ballistic Missile Submarine, USS George Washington SSBN 598 coming into Pearl Harbor. My Dad was in Vietnam and we lived in Hawaii when I was a kid. It scared the S@#T out of me.

What's worse than that...

One of my youngest daughter's best friends was out fishing two weeks ago near Groton and the USS San Juan SSN 751 (he thinks) surfaced within 100 meters of his 27' Boston Whaler boat. Almost swamped the boat. When he got back into his slip in New London he screamed and yelled to the Base CO's office. A subordinate told him to keep his ass away from that lane as he was in the wrong. Fast attack subs brake for nobody it seems. I shuddered when I heard this!

Pictures are the sub salvage pens at Puget Sound as they await their break-up and reactor removal. But, maybe it was the old 1962 Aurora box that creeped me out?🤔

That's a common misinterpretation of 'wherefore'. You're not alone in that.
Contrary to common belief; “wherefore” means “why”, not “where” – Juliet isn't asking where Romeo is; she's plaintively asking (rhetorically) why he has to be a Montague, and the sworn enemy of her family.
Her next line removes all doubt:
“Deny thy father and refuse thy name” – in other words, don't be a Montague!
