Using the camera boats, we have a montage of clips here which help to appreciate the many variables between cameras and conditions around the lake at different times of the year.

Second go at getting a decent launch vid, - tricky when backing in as you have to manage steering, fwd/rev and handbrake together, (plus having to use 2 TXs and 2 cameras. ). Getting slightly better at it. Next time will be launched by the amphitruck, as it's bigger, heavier and has better grip, (and 4x4 rear drive.) Ramp was a bit wet and slippery for the jeep, (would pull it up in the dry ok) I have a 4k vid of the boat from the new camera, but need a new editor for MOV vids.

Hi Steve, the ramp's not too bad, just the big 1 1/4 x 3/4 joints in the concrete are fun to get over, (sort of equivalent to driving over a 1ft wide ditch. Almost finished the towbar for the amphitruck, so keen to try towing with that next time. The driveshaft brake on the jeep is a big help,- holds the 13lb lump easily.

Test no 2 with deflector plate above jet unit,- stops water running up the transom in reverse. Changed cameras so vid is slightly better than the last rubbish😁 Also demonstrates the jets ability to have fwd, neut and reverse while running in one direction.

Hi Martin, quite pleased that it worked so well😊 And you mean put out fires like this ? (jet boat, Lake Lyndon NZ 2012)😁😁 Quite a common fire fighting method by the public for boats these days, especially using jet skis.

This video is taken from 2 different vessels with cameras, there are multiple salvages and a few crashes 😊
This will be the last video from Hubertus for an unknown amount of time due to the CoronaVirus my Government has shut down all nonessential services including clubs.

Busy Sunday with 6 members bringing IC boats to the lake. Onshore & offshore footage of the thrills and spills using GoPro cameras on the boats.
