Northsider built from a Tyne Model kit
History M.T. Northsider & M.T. Ironsider:
Completed April 1967, at Richard bunston Hessle for the Lawson
Batey Tug Co. Ltd., at a cost of £106,500. Then chartered to the Tyne & Wear Tug Co. Ltd., working on the Tyne for harbour towage. Also visiting other UK and European ports during many coastal tows. After a long and eventful service on the Tyne, sold in 1996 to BaltagI Pilots in Bahrain and renamed 'BaltagI 6' there it remains in service today. M.T. Ironsider Completed September 1967, a sister ship to the Northsider, also chartered to the Tyne Wear Tug Co. Ltd., until 1992. Then sold to Proodos Maritime Co., Piraeus and renamed 'MegaloharI 12' still in service today.
Both tugs are similar to Alexandra Towings Tug, 'Sauria' which, was based at Felixstowe, UK. .

Building from plan going to run on a Johnson 600 powered by a 3 cell lipo with a 10" shaft & 42mm propeller it will be going to a pal in Scotland when it is finished

Here is the last shot of the lady Lusitania in the scale of 1/350 makes this a very sizable model to be hold.

Here is another view of the Lusitania this is the starboard quarter shot. A Beautiful ship she is sunk May 7th 1915 13 miles off of the little head of kinsale in 300 feet of water.

Here is a display model I built it is the late great RMS LUSITANIA scale 1/350 built for show only it took me 7 months to build a one of a kind kit something you don't see everyday built from a kit mostly scratch built did not like some of the kit parts so I made my own.

I have made the sails & starting to put them on winch servo fitted running line is on it runs around the top of the deck

mast & booms fitted sails attached the next step is to try her out when we get a suitable day

motor not right ordered new one had to modify the deck to remove the motor
engine sound system not right other wise very pleased with te boat r w angus

KaSaBon, Caldercraft Riverman, 30 inches long. Has been left on shelf since I acquired it awaiting some TLC. Not done too much to it as. Thinking of modifying the wheel house and putting in steam funnel etc

Another loft find. Bought for £15 as a very delapidated static model. Converted for RC. Many new parts required and complete repaint from deck up. Up for sale as I have too many boats. Sorry you are to late the boat has been sold.

Cheap buy as it had been in the loft for years.
Most of the glue had failed and many parts lost. Totally resprayed or hand painted from deck up. Powered by to monoperm motors. Now finished it is up for sale. Now been sold.
