Hello cdnfurball, you slipped a bit too high with your contribution. But no problem. Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the trailer would be mobile, but I jacked it up in our garden and it should stay that way.
Perhaps not a true description with both boats being battery powered ! however - just for fun I thought it would be nice to showcase together, similar boats sailed at my own local model boat club and some of those sailed at the Hayling club - a sort of "Model Club Twinning".

On a visit to Hayling Island last year, I met and sailed members of the Hayling Island Model Boat Club at their local venue at Mill Rythe.
May this year provided me the opportunity for a return visit.

My wife and I went to the Confederation Modellers Annual Event yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

This is another model that Model Expo commissioned me to build because is a new model that they are selling and they need one for their model display showcase.
The name of this kit is “Artur”.
Artur is the most popular fishing vessel among Brazilian fishermen. Many are still active in Brazilian waters today.
Researching this vessel I found out that many other nations like Russia, Norway, and Switzerland also used it. This type of vessel was also used in WWII to fight against Hitler by carrying ammo for the French.
This kit has gone through many upgrades by Nauticurso (Brazilian model maker). The kit I built is their first version, so after researching I decided to replace or created many parts of my own.
It comes with the running hardware needed for full radio control operation. Instructions Model Shipways Inc. carefully translates manual into English containing many photos showing step-by-step assembly.
All pieces are laser cut Amazonian wood.

Balloon Duster is an unfortunate typo for Balloon BUSTER!
It's just a hilarious game on the water, especially at exhibitions, to encourage youngsters to get involved.
Each boat has a balloon tethered to it, which the other boats try to bust (pop💥) with a spike mounted as a bowsprit. (I've got 4 x 4.7" QF Mk. IXs on mine😂🤣)
If done in strict competition I guess you could regard a Balloon Buster as a boat class, with defined specs in order to level the playing field.
But if JFF then Who cares about specs? Even in Formula 1 teams are always trying to develop 'an edge' within the rules!
Last man (balloon) standing wins😁

Here is what the "Florida" version of the "Balloon Boat" looked like (first photo, ~1990).
This is what the "Mother" of these balloon boats looks like today (second photo, current rescue boat). This was the master to make the mold for subsequent fiberglass hulled boats like in the first photo.
Many of you guys know that this is an old model that has been in the market for a long time and reproduced by many model companies like Dummas 1259 SC-1, ITC Model class craft 1:74 (plastic), Ringo Toy Corporation NC. C-5820200 1:74, Glenco model 1:74 (plastic) and a few others.
I don’t know if I have mentioned this before but I receive many request to build models for a local well know model company that is Model Expo owned by Marc Mosko, also owner of Model Shipways, Model Trailways, Model Airways and Guns of History.
This Subchaser is R/C but I never added all of the radios and servos since it was going to be shown on the Model Expo showcase.
So here is what I build with many scratch build items.

My kit is a Nauticurso from Brazil but Model Expo distributes it. There are so many things you could add to the model to make it look as real as possible.

Hello again, here’s a picture of an M class destroyer which I built some years ago, she is of again balsa construction from Model Boat Magazine plans, I built over one winter about 9 years ago, she is sealed with dope and tissue which gives a smooth finish, the guns were constructed from plastic card, with brass rods for the barrels!
She was retired a couple of years ago, but recently she was brought out retirement and gifted to family friend was showing an interest in battle ships!
Many years ago I bought a scale(not sure what scale) outboard motor. Have been looking for a suitable hull for the motor. Rather recently this cabin cruiser showed up.

Bill that’s very cool. Wondering if it’s possible to access the motor and replace it with one of the same type but less powerful, that way you wouldn’t have to mess with the end points. Anyway, very nice!!
