Looking good Chris, I have one that is in a sorry state and needs a lot of work on it, there is nothing in side and I have started striping it down for a total re-paint. Trouble is I have four other boats that I am working on and no room to work (stuck in a one bed flat)

Well I have tried a combination of ESCs and motors and different batteries from 7.5 up and I am still getting the same problem. Could it be the receiver or transmitter lock. Pluss I am also getting motor surge,

I am restoring my second RAF High speed launch and I am having a problem with the motor. At the moment it only has one motor and prop, I am using a Leopard Hobby LC3536-960kv brushless motor with a Marine30amp 6v water proof ESC and an E fly transmitter and receiver. During testing the motor cuts out after a couple of minuets then if I relies the throttle and re-apply, it runs again for a couple of seconds and the cuts out. I have tried the motor with a different ESC and it would not run at all. Any help greatly appreciated any ideas?

I just found out that HSL128 originally had a red and white checked box on the bow across the deck, so some remedial work to be done. so it should look like this,

Due to illness I have had to put my larger projects on hold (to much for me to move around at the moment because of the size) so I am working on returning this HSL to how she looked (in real life) when she first came into service. I got her in the grey, she needed a bit of TLC electrically and mechanically and of course repainting but almost there.

Well unfortunately there has been no progress on the resto due to illness ,she has been put in storage for now along with the other boat I have on here. For now I am working on a smaller project.
